A woman who has a thrill for challenges and makes the most of it to bring people together shares her story.
Ellen Tang Finds Her Voice In Property Development
Ellen described herself as quiet growing up. Having entered the industry in 2012, Ellen has learned the importance of educating herself and finding her voice throughout her journey in property development.
“Confidence is instrumental in building one’s credibility.”
This has led her to where she is today as Associate Director of Aton Group.
Aton Group is a diversified company with three core businesses: Property Development, Property Management, and Property Media.
Their property development has developed projects such as Aru Suites and Vetro11. The company has developed unique properties that offer the highest quality of living, in the most desirable locations.
She is also the Director of PHPS, a subsidiary of Aton Group which handles property management. PHPS is a company that manages properties and provides on-site services such as maintenance and repair to their residential clients.
With 10 years of experience working with prominent property developers, her passion for property marketing has only grown and evolved.
A thrill for challenges
Ellen expressed her love for challenges and learning curves in property development, from selecting the right location to developing the final product for the market.
Her passion for properties motivates her to provide solutions to her clients in their journeys to owning their dream properties is a rewarding experience.
It’s an exciting experience to watch her clients’ faces when they realise the space they’ve been dreaming about is already in their possession, and to know she’s played a part in making it happen.
That sense of accomplishment is something she never gets tired of sharing with others.
Family time is golden time
Ellen spends a lot of time with her family during leisure time, they cook and do outdoor exercises during the weekends.
"It is when I can give my undivided attention to my loved ones."
Aside from that, Ellen is endlessly curious, so she also spends time reading.
“I love reading and updating myself on current issues, which is also important to my job.”
Ellen has spoken on the issue of high home prices in Sabah. You can see her give her thoughts during our webinar yesterday.
We were joined by Ellen and fellow women in real estate to discuss the issues in real estate.
She noted that affordable houses are now becoming unaffordable due to not being able to be digested by the mass market.
