Future of Short Stay Business

Potential buyers are welcomed to view Sutera Bay not just as a property but as a business opportunity. VTS group expects tourism in Sabah to bounce back by the year 2022 and to reach 5 million tourists by 2024, which is when Sutera Bay is expected to open. With not enough rooms to host these international visitors, VTS Group attests that short stay projects are worth investing in now. It is a low-risk business model for startups, especially when it is located in a prime central location.

The business suites are purpose-built for short stay operations where size and design are optimized for travellers’ needs. The units also comply with requirements by local authority for commercial use. Tenants at the retail space will also be carefully selected to attract related services such as tour operator, food and beverages outlet, convenient stores and souvenir retailers.
