What is in Papar, Sabah

According to locals, Papar comes from a Bruneian word meaning ‘flat land’ and it is part of the reason why Papar is famous for its agriculture activities.

To get to Papar, it only takes 40 minutes to drive from the Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Today, Papar town has seen considerable growth in recent years but still preserves some of its charming older buildings and features within the town area.
