Propnex Sabah Half Yearly Awards 2021

This October, Propnex held their Half Yearly Awards ceremony at Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort after a long period of movement restrictions.

It was a chance for the team of real estate professionals to get together and celebrate each other's accomplishments, as well as commemorate the branch's 2nd year anniversary.

There were 10 top achievers and recognitions awarded. The following shares some of the winners hopes and aspirations as leading real estate agents in the state.

What do you plan to contribute to your clients as a top performing REN?

I always try my best to provide professional service for my clients. I even hope to understand what is the client's requirements and try to fulfil their needs. Their trust in me is what drives me to do what I do.

I am glad to be one of the Propnexian Family. It is our culture to treat clients like our friends and to be happy and enjoy our work.

What changes do you hope to see in the property market in Sabah?

It is a 1Malaysia country and I hope the government can focus on analysing our Sabah property value as Sabahans are facing high cost of living. All the materials come from West Malaysia, which cause prices to increase up to 50%. Sabahans are unwilling to accept this situation. I hope Sabah property market can get better and better in terms of balance of the life, market will stay healthy and everyone can enjoy a reasonably priced property.

What do you plan to contribute to your clients as a top performing REN?

I am just like the other PropNex REN. We are a team and we learn and strive together. My success is their success, and their success is my success as well, because we are a PropNexian Family. For me, maintaining a good relationship among all mankind is very important in this world. This is also what I have been practicing and will continue to practice it to create lasting, positive and mutually beneficial relationships with my clients.

How I plan to do this? I WILL GO ABOVE AND BEYOND. I believe, to have a great, instead of good, relationship with my clients and it all depends on how I show up for them.

By going above and beyond, I make sure that my clients will have a positive experience and that my work exceeds their expectation. This can strengthen our relationship and I will also become the go-to resource for them.

Apart from that, I believe by going above and beyond for my clients will also help to instil a sense of trust and respect for each other. My clients will also feel as though I am a partner they can rely on, which can go a long way in creating relationships that last.

What changes do you hope to see in the property market in Sabah?

I think everyone knows and is aware, especially with the frequent property investors, that the land price in Sabah is quite high as compared to the land price in other states in Malaysia.

As such, it results in higher price of building built on a particular land, i.e. houses, offices, retails or shop lots. Therefore, I really hope to see there is a change on this, so that the building built on a certain land, especially houses, as everybody needs a roof on their head, will have lower or reasonable prices and everybody can afford to buy.

I hope Sabah property market will rebound soon, as the economic slowly recovering, i hope the govt will continue giving incentives to the 1st time homebuyers to help them buy their dream house.
