Tiffaney Liew on Leading 500 Real Estate Negotiators in Malaysia
for Women In Real Estate 2023, by Property Hunter

IQI Team leader, Tiffaney Liew has the secret sauce in growing a thriving career in real estate, but what is her main ingredient? It's her team.
Tiffaney, who is recognised as one of the Women In Real Estate for this year, expressed her delight in sharing her journey that started back in July 2016.
Before entering the real estate industry, Tiffaney had held various corporate positions both locally and overseas in China. A friend in property development encouraged her to explore property sales.
To her pleasant surprise, in just the first 6 months of her career with a real estate agency, she managed to achieve tremendous sales of RM10 million. As a result of which, Tiffaney’s outstanding performance has earned her recognition as a nationwide top performer at IQI Global.
“I am truly grateful to be nominated this year, but I believe it's not just about my personal sales, yet it's about the collaborative effort and commitment we've all put in to achieve success together."
Today, Tiffaney leads a team of almost 500 young and vibrant team leaders and agents across East and West Malaysia, also Labuan. Together, they transacted RM100 million in sales last year alone.

On overcoming challenges
"I feel honoured to be entrusted with the responsibility of managing such a wonderful team, yet it is not easy managing so many people with such a limited time. However, what helps me to endure it is the ability to maintain a positive attitude, supporting each and every one of my team members to the best of my ability.
When faced with difficult situations, I believe in tackling them with an optimistic and solution-focused mindset. Rather than dwelling on past mistakes or setbacks, I view each challenge as an opportunity for growth and development. "
Tiffaney also gave praise to IQI for its impeccable management skills.
Although during the pandemic was a difficult period, we were able to not only weather the storm, but double our sales and propel our business forward. Without the unwavering support and guidance of our management and IQI Sabah Head of Team, I wouldn’t be where I am today”.

On what sets her apart
"As a leader, I believe in creating a culture of sincerity and collaboration within my team. I have found that leading with empathy and understanding, rather than force or authority, is the key to building a strong and cohesive team. I believe my team is strong because we enjoy working together to achieve greater success together.
Nothing brings me greater joy and happiness than witnessing their victory and self-discovery."
Tiffaney shared that the team managed to produce two youngest Leaders in East Malaysia, aged 22 and 23. Besides that, her teammates in KL also offer marketing workshops in Kuala Lumpur.
“As a leader, I cannot overemphasise the importance of establishing a strong system, a positive culture, and a clear direction for my team, which are the foundational elements to success. Without a clear direction or system, you might be a good leader, but your team will be lost.
That's why I prioritise creating a work environment that is supportive and nurturing. When team members feel valued, respected, and empowered, they are able to bring their best selves to work, making it a breeding ground for developing genuine and quality leaders and producers!"
Tiffaney is just one of eight Women In Real Estate 2023.
